Raggedy Ann Rally
Friday, June 8, 2018 - Saturday, June 9, 2018
Arcola Community Center
Every year Raggedy Ann & Andy enthusiasts gather in Arcola, the birthplace of Johnny Gruelle creator of Raggedy Ann & Andy. They come to find new treasures, renew Raggedy friendship, make new friendships and visit the small town that was once the home of Johnny Gruelle.
There will be sales and activities Friday & Saturday 9 am-4 pm.
Theme this year is “The Legacy of John B. Gruelle”. This all will be at the new Masonic Community Center on Locust Street in downtown Arcola.
Some of the fun planned: Raggedy Rock Painting & Nickel Bingo and there will be a Friday Night Dinner at Yoder’s Kitchen in Arthur.
BE SURE TO VISIT THE RAGGEDY ANN MUSEUM @ the DEPOT VISITOR CENTER at 135 North Oak St., Arcola.
We have two new outdoor Raggedy Ann & Andy displays. One is a set of life sized colored bronze dolls sitting on a red bench. The second one is a 3 ft. granite Raggedy Ann and a Raggedy Andy statues. Both great for getting your photo taken with our favorite girl and boy.Arcola Community Center is located at
